Workplace Mediation

Often, there can be conflicts that occur in the workplace that need to be addressed as early as practicable. Workplace mediations are a valuable tool in this regard in that it allows for an employer to mitigate conflicts within the workplace. As such, it is crucial to retain an experienced mediator equipped to assist each party in resolving their differences. A mediator can assist with the employees identifying the source of their conflict and develop strategies with respect to how to deal with conflict in the future.

Workplace Investigations

An employer has a legal obligation to investigate complaints of workplace harassment and violence under Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). Being that workplace investigations must be conducted to a certain standard, it is crucial that a specific process is followed, with reference to the employer’s policies and procedures.
